Tre’Von Encalade, The Kabbalistic Craftsman, is a Master Mason who was Initiated, Passed, and Raised in 2021 and is the sitting Worshipful Master of Ralph K. Howell Lodge No. 1259 of Houston, Texas, for Masonic Year 2026-2027. “Trey” has also been a member of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry (commonly known as the “Scottish Rite”) since Fall 2022, where he is currently a 32nd degree Master of the Royal Secret, and a member of the Knights of St. Andrew, Valley of Houston.
Trey has had a special interest in symbology since his late teenage years, with that interest ultimately developing into Perennialist esotericism in his adult years, even before becoming a Freemason. His interests in esotericism have allowed him to see connections or parallels in Masonic symbolism across traditions where others may miss them. He has had opportunities to present his findings live for the edification of dozens of brother Masons, and has participated in two editions of the Houston Valley Herald (Houston Scottish Rite’s educational publication).
This site serves as a repository of his findings, and he openly welcomes feedback in the spirit of “iron sharpening iron”.
